drawing
i've been drawing all sorts of character-focused works since i learned to hold a pen. as an artist, i'm entirely self-taught, both in traditional and digital media. i currently produce my digital art with Clip Studio.
on the side, i also make vector art (with (a perfectly legal copy of) Adobe Illustrator), pixel art with Aseprite, and more!
writing
writing as a hobby appeared late in my life, some time after i discovered tabletop rpgs. now, i write lore for my worlds, short stories featuring my characters, and much more!
my biggest project (as both a writer and an artist) is a book series i'm curently co-writing with a best friend, featuring my character Emil. i can't say anything about it yet, tho you might get a good idea of the direction this will go if you read their backstory ;)
multi
it might be obvious from my appearance and works, but i love characters with extra body parts. it's my hyperfixation. the bread and butter of my character design. my identity, to some degree.
i've had this interest for as long as i can remember. my very first oc, which i created around 10, already had extra limbs! however, it took me a very long time to open up about it. as a bullied kid, i was horribly afraid of other people branding me as "too weird" for it. well look at me now! i've fully embraced the weird and am the happiest i've ever been :)
fantasy
– that's fair
– but i love it when the chosen king reclaims his divine sword and leads his army in glorious battle
– who doesn't
i love fantasy settings! magic, monsters, dungeons, strange landscapes and unique people, everything. it's my favorite genre to explore as an artist/writer, and my goto setting for tabletop rpgs.
science fiction
the very first book i bought for myself was Philip K Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", and it changed me. ever since, i've consumed unreasonable amounts of scifi books.
tho i enjoy a lot of scifi media, it's not my favorite genre to explore as artist/writer; building scifi worlds requires a lot more research and careful effort for me than, say, fantasy ones. hoping to change that someday!
tabletop rpgs
ever since i've tried them in high school, i've been fascinated by tabletop rpgs. pretty quick, i started building homebrew systems to GM for my friends, and developing entire fantasy worlds. i still do so today!
i also have a sizeable collection of dice, meeples and other trinkets specifically for my tabletop rpgs. i often illustrate the characters i play, or create ocs with the intention to play them someday.
programming
i dabble in Python! as part of past romhacking activities, i also have considerable experience with 65c816 assembly, aka SNES asm. and i know a little bit of GDScript.
i've been using notepad++ for almost 10 years, but have recently switched to VSCodium, aka VSCode without Windows's telemetry/tracking bullshit! it's really neat, you should check it out.
