Sanao

Sanao has a large gecko-like body with 3 heads, 6 arms, 6 legs in a taur fashion (4 forelegs, 2 hindlegs), and a large tail. All of their hands and feet are both polydactyl (6 fingers) and prehensile (with a thumb). They also have 3 navels on their upper torso. They have blue skin, yellow eyes, and crest-like "hair" that comes in round lumps.

Sanao's very first iteration (my fursona's initial version) was merely 2-headed and 4-armed. They already had prehensile extremities, but its hands/feet only had 4 fingers/toes. They had no name at the time. I had created them as fun exercise after watching a video on the origins of the furry community.

As time went on, I added more parts to them, and identified with them further, making them more or less a shapeshifter. I first gave them 3 heads, then a taur body, then upgraded their number of fingers per hand to 5. Discovering myself as a trans individual, I also made them nonbinary, then fem.

It all came to an abrupt stop when I started seriously considering the idea of being alterhuman. At that point, I fully focused on developing Asralim both as a fantasy species and a shape for me to use. Sanao was abandoned for a long time, and I wasn't sure what to do with them, until today. Now they're an standalone character (though I have yet to give them a proper backstory in any specific setting), with a name and a set form!
