Galahim (modern)

Because Galahim can shapeshift, there are few things about xem that never change. Xeir skin is black, xeir hands and feet have sharp white claws, and xeir eyes are blue. On xeir head(s), xey have a pair of backwards-curved horns, with a sharp, hilt-like tip at the front. Xey also have (a) thin, pointy-ended tail(s).

Galahim's preferred form is, as xey call it, "all in threes": 3 heads, 6 arms, 3 legs, and 3 tails.

Galahim is a powerful shapeshifter; xey can rapidly grow any number of limbs, heads and body parts as xey please. But xey can't change skin colors, eye colors, etc; Xeir form is always a combination of parts from a "base" Galahim of sorts.

When sporting multiple heads, Galahim's shapeshifting also extends to xeir consciousness; xeir heads can house one or multiple minds, making it sometimes difficult to tell if you're dealing with a single Galahim with many faces, or many Galahims sharing a body.

As part of xeir powers, Galahim seems able to shapeshift xeir clothes as well. However, this only works flawlessly with xeir personal ones. Several times already, xey've irreversibly "damaged" clothes xey bought on Earth or that xeir friends lent xem, as those would refuse to turn back to normal.

Galahim is fond of and fascinated by many things on Earth we find absolutely normal, like books, pastries or fruits. Xey especially enjoy cherries, which xey consider "surely the greatest delicacy Earth has ever produced".
