appearance

Gusion's form is that of a giant floating book, with a wine-colored cover and an ornate bookmark ribbon. It has features resembling a children's book, like a title that says "Bonjour! Je m'appelle Gusion" in large bubbly letters, and an illustrated sorcerer figure with the head of a crescent moon. In the corners of the front cover, one can also see the alchemical symbols of the 4 elements.

The figure on the front cover is Gusion's "true" face/body. It often stays immobile on the front cover, with only its mouth animating when it speaks, but it can display all kinds of expression and move to any surface of the book (including its pages) if Gusion desires it.

Because Gusion effectively has a book for a body, it interfaces with its surroundings via small, crudely constructed familiars. They have round faces with awkwardly placed horns and bulging eyes, and their tails end in a crescent moon shape.

present

As a Corrupter of the 6th Circle, Gusion goes on extensive trips to Earth to meet conjurers, sharing eldritch knowledge and collecting Essence in return. Though lately, things have been slowing down considerably for Gusion; who would bother summoning a big stupid book when they can call bigshots like Paimon, or more well-known Dukes?

Gusion thus spends most of its time overseeing the work of Jezebel. Being a quick learner that nonetheless chooses to despise authority, she's causing it a lot of trouble; it wonders if there's even the slightest chance she can be made into a proper Soul Shepherd.

trivia

Gusion's bookmark ribbon isn't part of its body; it was offered to it by Paimon when it was ordained as a Corrupter.

Gusion's creepy servants weren't built this way on purpose; it's just very hard making familiars when one only has paper pages and hardcover for hands.
