Merkhio

Merkhio has 3 heads, 4 arms and 4 aligned legs. His torso has 2 rows of 3 pecs. His middle and right heads both have short hair, while his left head's hair is longer and tied into a ponytail. He often wears matching hairclips on all 3 of his heads, as well as a headband on the middle one.

Merkhio wasn’t always a righteous person. Growing up in a middle class family with a farm and a large orchard, he had plenty of space to play as kid; but no one to play with. As such, he was very turbulent, and often got himself and his family in trouble. His behavior improved as his general studies in Ujara required more of him, but he was still a challenging child to raise.

When he was 17, one of Merkhio’s few friends, named Etris, was suddenly arrested; apparently, they were the only suspect in a robbery case. Merkhio, focused on helping his friend, dedicated the better part of a month to researching the incident and talking to involved people. With his determination and the help of another friend, he eventually managed to participate to Etris's public audience, and convinced the judge his friend was innocent beyond doubt.

After all this, Merkhio realised he had a natural talent when it came to rhetoric, and a strong presence as a speaker; that’s when he decided he’d become a lawyer. A few months later, he went through Somatem, and started studying the law.

After years of hard work, Merkhio’s goals gained in precision, as he decided to become a judge. He thus practiced first as a defense attorney, then as a prosecutor for an equal amount of time, as the state requires. After years of on-field experience, Merkhio became an important judge at the Central Court of the state.

Merkhio continues practicing law in Ujara to this day, assisted by the very capable Judicial Investigators Esrem & Lenno.

However, he's been feeling conflicted about his job lately. His work is respected, and the High Justice Ministry is proud of his work, but he's unsure about his career and is considering moving abroad; perhaps even in a different legal field.

Merkhio is a workaholic, and feels pretty guilty about it. He does more than his fair share of work, but has trouble putting it aside at appropriate times, which doesn’t leave him much free time.
