Ashair

Ashair has warm grey, unkempt feathers tied into a small bun at the back of his head. His beak, hands and feet are dark blue with shiny black claws. He has yellow-orange eyes, and a scar resembling claw marks on the left corner of his beak. He also lacks the feathery tail and "ears" of most Awyerians; more scars under his feathers suggest they were lost in battle.

Ashair refuses to talk about his past, even to his closest disciples. Even his age is only a guess from those who've known him the longest.

Ashair travels here and there, apparently with the only purpose of finding disciples and training them. He rarely stays in the same place for long or visits his former students, if ever. Most of them think he's searching for the one disciple that could equal or surpass him, and that he's eager to teach them about secret skills or knowledge.

Ashair is highly proficient in a wide variety of martial magics battle styles. He's exceptionally fast, nimble, and doesn't hesitate to hurt his opponents in ways his colleagues or disciples would refuse to even if someone genuinely threatened their life.

Ashair smokes like a chimney, but firmly forbids his students to even try it themselves.
