Lukin, Migao & Rayni

Lukin (right head), Migao (middle head) & Rayni (left head) share a body with 6 arms and 3 legs, that they all have unrestricted control over. They respectively have blue, yellow and red eyes. They have dark, purple-grey flesh.

Lukin, Migao & Rayni all initially lived in the city of Kepetc, in the Smaragdine Empire.

Lukin was a teacher of Arcane Arts at the Academy of Sciences, but didn't feel satisfied despite their well-paid position. As a Luragit who didn't feel like melding with their peers, because of both personal fears and socialising difficulties, they felt very isolated. On top of that, their home had been robbed several times since they had moved to the city, and they had started fearing for their safety.

Migao was the right-hand man of an important noble called Dorcel who, while wealthy, was anything but wise; he had terrible business skills, and his fortune was quickly diminishing. His only chance to get back on track was a contract with a powerful alchemy ingredients seller, but there was one problem: Dorcel knew nothing about magic, much less alchemy. Migao was thus charged with finding someone who could teach their employer a thing or two, hopefully enough for him (and consequently Migao themself) to stay afloat.

Rayni was a brawler who, while skilled, was quite poor. They easily defeated all sorts of opponents, but couldn't afford to participate in official tournaments with participation fees. A colleague of theirs suggested they should find a sponsor. Too bad Rayni was anything but fond of rich people, and didn't know any.

Ater a series of fortunate encounters, the 3 Luragits pretty much solved each others' problems. Lukin, through long lessons, helped Migao's employer to secure a contract. Migao, through clever fraud, managed to hand over a substantial amount of money to Rayni, so they could finally participate in important tournaments. Finally, Rayni gave Lukin self-defense lessons, which boosted their confidence and helped them against persistent robbers.

After all these events, they kept in touch, and eventually became a polycule. A few months after, as Lukin gradually opened to the idea of melding, they eventually joined together, experimenting with forms for a while. It didn't take long before they settled on the one they currently have, and made it permanent.

They soon left Kepetc behind, wandering the world to find what common occupation they could go for in the long term. During their journey, they met Ashair, a master of martial magics who thought their complementary skills might make them into fine masters themselves. It took Ashair some time to convince all of them, but they eventually agreed. Years of training and discoveries passed, during which they met and befriended other disciples, like Kakopi; and finally they rose to the ranks of masters.

Lukin, Migao & Rayni have established their own training grounds in the Garland Kingdom and are working on developing original techniques, as they pass the knowledge they accumulated to about a dozen disciples every year.

Together, Lukin, Migao & Rayni can accumulate and use a vast quantity of mana. Their battle style adds the power of elemental spells to conventional blows, making them much stronger and faster than one would expect.

As 3 people sharing many limbs, they easily overwhelm unprepared opponents with numerous blows, and are great at both spotting incoming hits and blocking them. They act as one in battle without the need to actively communicate, and can quickly correct each other's mistakes by switching limb control.
